Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Shlesinger who was born February 22, 1983 is an American comedian, actress, television host executive producer, as well as screenwriter. She was the winner of the 2008 edition of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went to host the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused and the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
In 2017, Shlesinger was the host of her own talk show at night called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. 5 As of 2022, she's released six comedy specials for Netflix. In April 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show.
Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born in New York City to a Jewish family. She was born in the city of New York to an ethnically Jewish family. The family relocated to Dallas when she was young. She attended Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she studied Spanish and was part of the school's improvisation team.
Shlesinger performed at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She took part in Semester at Sea. Then, she transferred to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. There, she studied film. While there she developed her editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a campus comedy sketch group.

After graduating from college, Shlesinger moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was among the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
