Aisha Hinds, an American actor best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her first recognition came from her role as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The film was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. The show was renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for release by mid-2019.
